      A side splitting episode.

Brian spots a huge business opportunity, a chance to land a huge supply of Kamikaze beer, the challenge, to win a pub quiz, but Den Perry has a secret plan, to win the competition. Jerry continues with his herbal medication.

This is another classic episode, it is an insanely funny watch, of course it's not very politically correct, but it really is harmless, enjoyable, laugh out loud fun. The laughs come thick and fast, surely one of the shoes best.

There are lots of talking points, however this one is all about the wonderful Jerry St Clair, and this is one of those occasions where he outshines even the legend that is Peter Kay. The Bingo, the wood chopping, and the piece de resistance, the scene in a dress, Dave Spikey nails it.

      9/10.

      Prolifically funny to me

Brian looks to obtain a free year supply of lager as Jerry's pill popping gets out of control.

This is one of my favourite episodes due to the consistency of the humour and how so many characters have an opportunity to shine. There are so many verbal and sight gags that make me laugh involuntarily, even now so many years after my first watch.

I enjoy it so much so I find it hard to pick highlights. Dave Bramwell is on exceptionally good form and I think his character Jerry even outshines Brian. I find some of his chemically provoked antics side-splitting. (That karate chop is done so deadpan by all!)

Peter Kay, who is typically hilarious has some great one liners as Brian, and great banter with numerous other characters, especially Bramwell.

Numerous other characters have outstanding lines timed to perfection, including Kenny Senior, Young Kenny, Spencer, Ray Vaughn, Max and Paddy.

I appreciate comedy is in the eye of the beholder so not everyone might enjoy it as much, but for me it is a classic.
