Tense/Well Plotted

Alan Shore returns to the town where he grew up after his best friend is implicated in the bludgeoning of a young woman. She has been his mistress and all signs point to his guilt. His rich domineering mother takes over the decision making of the case as Alan tries to maneuver the waters. There is a secret revealed between Alan and the mother. Betty White plays a key role and Ed Asner is the judge. Yay, MTM.
