    getting too self-righteous

I freely admit that I am a staunch conservative. I frankly don't care about the rights of murderers, rapists, and other criminals who ruin people's lives. To that end, I'm about fed up with the slant of this show, fighting for the release of those such criminals. Bending rules and laws so that murderers go free, rapists get released, and criminals are back on the streets, while victims get victimized all over again by the system. The degree of self-righteousness of the defense attorneys is nauseating, at best. How they can devote their lives to defending such scum and getting them back into society makes me sick., especially when they know their clients have committed such heinous crimes. I realize this is a show, but this is how the system works.

    Real

In our country (and probably most others) the powerful make the rules. There was no chance that guy would get convicted. He put a hit out on a chief witness who had recanted. The overzealous DA played right into his hands but never had a chance anyway. This is a glowing example of the way things are. Jimmy and Bobby (stupid names for grown men) are willing to allow more people to die and have their property taken away as long as they get the check.
