Bags of fun, another cracking episode.

Jeff and Jeannie are hired by Meredith Hortweldine, who's set to come into a huge inheritance, along with his brother Jasper, who he believes is going to kill him. Jasper hire rival Detectives Marshall and Snellgrove, both sets have to fight to keep their clients alive.

It's a very enjoyable episode, it's a very quirky story, but it's very imaginative and very clever.

Ok, so everything is telegraphed, and you don't exactly need to be eagle eyed to spot who exactly is sitting in that tavern in the opening sequences, but there's no denying that Charlie Higson came up with the goods here.

Every great Detective Agency needs a rival firm, and for Jeff and Marty, it was Marshall and snellgrove, and just with Marty and Jeff, they are two very different characters.

John Dougall, all I can say, is he puts in a truly brilliant performance, he gets to showcase some of his acting skills, all I'm saying, is I can see shared of Herr Flick times.

Shaun Parkes is excellent, Colin McFarlane is so good as Sebastian, what a beautiful voice he has, cracking actor.

Very entertaining.

Trivia
Marty thinks he's special and that's why he was chosen to be able to come back to earth. Professor Wyvern informs him that in fact a mistake had been made and a civil rights activist in South America named Martin Hopkirk, because of his exceptional life, was supposed to come back to earth, not Marty Hoplirk, the not so special P.I.
