Darrin Stephens, Clint Eastwood & that 2nd rate, copycat witch!

So I surfed onto this and I see Darrin Stephens (Dick York) sitting next to the 2nd rate, copycat of Sammantha Stephens, aka the very pretty Elizabeth Montgomery, none other the very annoying and homely copycat Barbara Eden aka "Jeannie". I can't stand her. But Dick York steals the show. Then arrives Dirty Harry aka Clint Eastwood. I have no idea what they're all doing in the same show.

It's black and white. And the witch I mean the djinn shows up in a veil and middle eastern hat doing that arabic dance. This was before her copycat show so I guess this is where she gave them the idea from! She keeps calling people "rats" to Dirty Harry and "snakes". What a potty mouth on that dame! Well, I guess pot kettle black and if the shoe fits. This would be great except Eden ruins literally ruins every show she's in. So it's a 7/10 even though there's still half an hour left and I have no idea what's going on. What can i say? She just annoy's me.

    Quick study

With Gil Favor delivering a small portion of the herd to the army and Rowdy Yates on other business for a bit, the drovers are taken in by confidence man Dick York and his belly dancing partner Barbara Eden.

After finding out from Wishbone where the important documents are. York has Eden do a belly dance and while everyone is checking her shape out he steals the ownership papers, power of attorney etc. and goes to the next town with a cut rate deal on the herd Harry Lauter who is a greedy banker takes the deal and York runs leaving Eden behind as well.

I have to say York is a quick study not just with this cattle swindle but a couple of other cons he pulls before Eastwood and Eden catch him.

Two other good performances come from Roy Barcroft as the sheriff and J. Pat O'Malley as the judge.

York is some piece of work with a good gift of gab which never leaves him.

    • Trivia
Crystal Simpson (actress Barbara Eden) rides the horse side-saddle. Women in the 1800s commonly rode horses side-saddle. This practice was due to social norms emphasizing modesty, as riding astride the horse was considered improper for women wearing skirts or dresses.
    • Quotes

      Rowdy Yates: Well, well.

Crystal Simpson: That's right, cowboy, we've already met.

Rowdy Yates: Wasn't 3,000 head of beeves enough or do you want to pick my pockets too?
