East of Danger

Dave 'Richard Diamond' Janssen goes deep into Chinatown to investigate who's using an antiques dealers imports for smuggling heroin. The 2nd appearance of familiar character actor James Hong ('Blade Runner', 'Big Trouble In Little China') on this show, and it's a good one. Excellent cinematography as well by Harry J. Wild ('Murder, My Sweet') and Janssen practicing his karate skills make this is another fun episode.

In an antiques shop somewhere in Chinatown. An elderly man is attacked in his shop when he discovers something.

He is critically ill in hospital. The man's daughter Sally Fong calls Richard Diamond who is having some judo lessons. He is black and blue belt after getting thrown around.

Diamond's investigations does not go without incident. He discovers that Sally's father found that drugs were getting smuggled inside some of the antiques.

Sally's father must have discovered it.

East of Danger is an efficient story. It was interesting and novel to see Richard Diamond trying out some martial arts.

James Hong is the guest star.
