This episode was part of a special crossover night with other shows in the TGIF programming block. Here, Salem transports everyone into the 1960s. The Boy Meets World (1993) episode No Guts, No Cory (1997), set in the 1940s, aired immediately after, followed by the You Wish (1997) episode Genie Without a Cause (1997), set in the 1950s, then by the Teen Angel (1997) episode One Dog Night (1997), set in the 1970s.

Goofs
Sabrina waking up in the 60's is shown to take place after Salem watches the Mod Squad on TV, implying he caused time to shift after that scene but before Sabrina wakes up.

However, later when Salem goes for a nap to dream about Peggy Lipton, he isn't wearing the collar he wears in the 60's. Meaning that his nap was what caused time to shift despite it's placement after the transition.
