The People Importers

The Saint investigates a racket in which illegal immigrants are being smuggled into Britain. This episode is quite topical, the subject is quite current. It's a bit serious, with the emphasis on the evil men who traffic these immigrants. The Saint is on the case, but is soon hunting down two other immigrants after finding one of them died from a bullet, but also had smallpox.

The people importers is a solid episode, with Roger Moore showing why he was/is the best actor to don the halo - he is sympathetic and shows warmth to the downtrodden, and utter contempt for the bad guys and is driven to bring them down.
