Not much else to say! Doesn't feel like it was written by Seinfeld writers. Feels like a hack job.

Season 5, Episode 3, "The Glasses" In spite of not often being considered one of the classic Seinfeld episodes, "The Glasses" is a favorite of mine. Even in the standards of the brilliant fifth season the episode stands out for me.
Even if the overall writing of the episode isn't perfect, and the story doesn't make much sense, the episode has some of the funniest moments in the show's history: George squinting himself into eating an onion instead of an apple, Kramer threatening Dwayne with a packet of sugar, Elaine showing rabies symptoms - these are some of the cast's greatest acting moments. Also noteworthy is Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn as Jerry's girlfriend of the week.

3 or 4 great pay offs at the end.
Numerous great one time characters Jerry being a nice guy and a flawed guy at the same time. He isn't the best actor but in this he was great. Pizza line was horrible but that was point George making every bad decision and interpretation.
Julia's(Elaine) over acting magnificently, that's how you ham it up 👏👏 And Kramer was the grease to turn the wheels in this episode, not significant but good nonetheless. Major credit to that green shirt he had on in opening minutes. I've heard of two tone but two different materials it was sharp. It may look hideous in person but looked fire from afar.

There are three plots running through this one. It starts with George showing up at Jerry's with prescription swim goggles. His glass were stolen at the gym. Kramer, who has gotten Jerry a discount air conditioner, sends George to an eyewear store. He tries on all kinds of glasses. While there, a guy comes in with a dog and the dog bites Elaine. That is plot two. But the third has to do with George thinking he saw Jerry's girlfriend making out on the street with another guy. Of course, he is nearly blind, but Jerry has no trouble believing him because he squinted and has the ability to see Raccoons on the road when he squints. Also, a great conclusion.

- TriviaJason Alexander commented via Twitter that he ate an actual onion in this episode but a special onion boiled a few times to soften the flavor.
- GoofsAt around 17 minutes, Kramer enters Jerry's apartment just as the air conditioner begins to fall from the window. As Kramer attempts to save it, he bumps into the desk table, jostling everything on it. The computer monitor ends up turned toward the wall. When the air conditioner is shown falling from outside the apartment, through the window the undisturbed monitor and computer are visible.
