Actress Valarie Pettiford, who plays the endangered pop singer Angie Ferris in this episode, is also a Broadway musical performer. The two songs sung by Angie Ferris in this episode - "Coming Back to Me" and "This World" - were both performed by Pettiford herself, in her own voice. "Coming Back to Me" was later released on the "The Sentinel" soundtrack album, along with other music composed by Steve Porcaro for the series.
