    Town Needs A Makeover

This is the first episode I've watched of this series. It's a solid western benefitting from Cameron Mitchell's performance. A good cast helps, too. William Conrad makes a good villain. It's nothing new. Still it makes for a good movie. Mitchell won me over with his performance in Tension at Table Rock. He seldom disappointed in oaters.

Buck Cannon shoots China Pierce's brother. China is played by William Conrad, who played Frank Cannon in on the show Cannon (1971).
    • Quotes

Tobin Boggs: China Pierce is a vindictive man, a violent man, a mad man and his son was killed...

Buck Cannon: His son was cheatin'. He pulled a gun when he was called on it. And he was fair killed.

Tobin Boggs: I don't care about that; I care about this town, Cannon. One person is not as important as many persons. You must move him, Cannon.

Buck Cannon: Well, Boggs, I talked to quite a bit of your town and my answer to them is the same as it is to you. Jones here, or whoever he is, stays because he's hurt and deservin' and on top of it all, stinkin' and low-life as you might find him, it's him and his type, engine to honesty, who made this land so much as you could build your carbunkle to nowhere.
