    Captive night

David 'Bishop' is working overtime at Slaters department store the night two brothers break in. When the safe proves harder to crack than expected, David pretends to be after the money as well.

But one of the brothers figures out David's scheme when he finds a note in David's shredded shirt (the Hulk) which states that the police will be reached when code is punched in, so he locks the security, David and the pretty Anne Lockhart in the safe after taking the money. Guess who breaks the safe door like they are papier-mâché ...

Another well-plotted and tense episode which features a horrid manager ( who proposes to Anne Lockhart that she can go up the ladder if she rides his, eh, ladder) and the hulk breaking out as usual but there's a gentle and innocent side of the hulk when he's confused and fascinated by the toys. Love Ferrigno's Hulk, much more human and fun than the cinematic versions.

    • Trivia
Although this episode aired just a few days before Christmas, it is not officially a "Christmas" episode because the characters make no mention of it. However, the Hulk's interaction with the store's Toy department may indicate that they may have planned to make this a Christmas episode, but later changed for some reason.
    • Goofs
Jim is worried about leaving witnesses to the robbery, but he was leaving his fingerprints everywhere, especially on the safe.
    • Quotes

Karen Mitchell: [Hears heavy breathing] David... Raymond, there's something in here besides us!

Raymond: [Fightened] Hold on. I got a match.

[Lights match, and Karen and Raymond gasps]

The Incredible Hulk: [Blows out match]
