    Skydiving Trip

This time David has hooked up with a troupe of skydivers, headed by one Hank Lynch. They're taking their show to Hank's hometown - much to his discomfort. See, there's bad blood between him and several of the townspeople: including two slimy cops, a crooked state senator, and the senator's son Jack, who's currently in an election campaign to succeed dad. The senator fears Hank is going to spill some dirt he has on his son, and makes moves to rub him out.

This is a promising premise, if a bit routine for this series, and Jack is a sympathetic character. Ultimately, though, I found this episode rather meh. After all the build-up around Jack's dark secret, the secret is utterly weak: Three men died through no fault of his, and after freezing up before a dive into a forest fire, he saved two boy scouts from the fire. It's not even close to being sufficient explanation for Hank's grudge against Jack, or for the senator risking a murder rap to silence Hank.

Besides that, there's simply not much exciting going on. David's fall out of a plane at the climax is full of thrilling moments without being at all drawn-out, and arguably it's worth watching the entire episode just to enjoy this one bit. But as for the rest of it, the plot is just much too predictable.

It feels odd to focus on negative commentary, because I disliked very little about this episode. The point is, I found very little to like about it, either. It's the sort of thing that will keep you reasonably entertained while you eat a TV dinner on a night alone, but a week or so later and you'll have forgotten most of it.

    The Sky Divers

David Banner(Bill Bixby) is working for a skydiving group of parachutists whose leader Hank(played by Sam Groom) has a mysterious connection to a local senator and his son when they visit his old hometown. It also appears that someone wants him dead, as repeated attempts on his life bring out the Hulk to take action... Marginal episode is mostly unremarkable, though it is interesting how the Hulk survives a long fall from an airplane when a different outcome occurred in the final reunion movie ten years later! Also strange to see no follow-up from the big events of previous episodes "Prometheus", when you would expect the military to be in hot pursuit!
