The Incredibly Strange Film Show (1988) "Ted V. Mikels"
This British television show was hosted by Jonathan Ross and featured interviews with various "B" movie makers. When viewed today this series is all the more important because so many of the filmmakers are no longer with us.
This fourth episode in the series has Ross traveling to Las Vegas where he interviews Ted V. Mikels. The cult director is best known for his films THE ASTRO ZOMBIES, THE CORPSE GRINDERS and TEN VIOLENT WOMEN. Mikels discusses not only his movie career but also gives some hints into his personal life including his "castle women" and some of them that appeared in his movies. If you're a fan of Mikels then you'll certainly enjoy this interview as the director is as charming as ever. He was always a filmmaker that I loved to listen to even though I didn't really care for his movies. Still, there's a lot of fun information here including interviews with some of his cast members.
