    The Prison Camp

David Banner(Bill Bixby) is arrested for vagrancy and apple theft(!) in a desert town, and sentenced to a prison work camp where the warden(played by Marc Alaimo) uses the inmates in an illegal scheme to exploit their labor by renting them out to local farmers. David becomes involved in an escape attempt with a popular inmate(played by Charles Napier) and after they are captured, are put in a sweat box, but the imminent arrival of Mr. McGee to attend a press conference forces David/the Hulk to take drastic action in another escape... Action-packed episode owes much to "Cool Hand Luke", but is still entertaining in its own right.

    The slam

When he is arrested for vagrancy and stealing an apple, David 'Brendan' is sent to a work camp in Jensen County where he becomes Prisoner #1124.

While in the work camp, David witnesses corruption in the prison system by the cruel prison warden - there's also a spy within the prisoners who was responsible for the breakout to be a failure ...

A hot and sweaty episode, meaning everyone - the prisoners - are sweating underneath the heat and from the brutish methods of their keepers. An involving episode with strong moments like with Hulk tossing a rattler away, and doing his usual mayhem. A young Robert Davi (a future Bond villain) plays a nasty jailer.
