The familiar guest stars kept my interest for "The Life Seekers" ep of "The Invaders"

Unlike other aliens on the show, Diana Muldaur and Barry Morse don't want to invade Earth. In fact, they're trying to get back to their home planet to spread the word, so to speak. So the lead character is trying to help them but has to convince some police officers of his intentions. Even after seeing some eps, part of me still gets confused at some of the narratives of this particular show. Still, I'm often intrigued by all the happenings and trying to figure which ones are humans and which ones are space aliens. And it's intriguing seeing Barry Morse after his stint in the previous QM show "The Fugitive" (especially since he grew a beard for this one) and Ms. Muldaur before her casting as that reporter Chris in "McCloud". So give "The Life Seekers" ep of "The Invaders" a chance.

    • Trivia
The story of this episode takes place in a town called Redstone, but the road map on the wall of the police station shows Indianapolis, Indiana as the location of the town. Although the resolution of the map is not adequate to read any town names, several actual highway numbers, circa 1968, are clear.
    • Goofs
During the Third Act Police Captain Battersea is roped to a chair by David Vincent. They way Battersea is tied up is completely different from one scene to the next.
    • Quotes

Narrator: [Opening Narration] A critically wounded officer; a garbled account of glowing, vanishing assailants; a phone call from a physician, who has come to believe in Invaders from space. And David Vincent moves into the center of a widening dragnet.
