Great show ...
I've now watched this entire series at leadt three times ... This will bevthe fourth time I've watched Mother Redcap ...and i still catch sometging new ...
Brian Murphy is going over the different dangerous hitmen to look out for ...first guy is the invisible man , second guy is the kubg fu guy ...3rd guy is a very dangerous suicide bomber ? How many times does a suicide bomber get to ply his trade ? He must not be all that successful if he's still alive ...and you think he'd at least be missing an arm or a leg or hav s sime serious facial scars ..
I personally think the writers did this intentionally of course ...just to see if anyone would really notice it ...Great writers by the way ......
Wonderful.
Mother Redcap is one of the best. It's no wonder fans love this episode, it truly is Jonathan Creek at its absolute best. It's funny, intriguing, and wonderfully macabre, it's so intricate, but all hangs together so well.
Nicola Walker does a terrific job, and deserves the praise, but I just love Brian Murphy here, he combines funny and tragic wonderfully well.
There are clues to be had, unlike in many if the episodes, so you can work it out if you follow closely. The humour mostly comes from Marcus Gilbert, and his character's alternative way of living, I never got any he wasn't a more visible on screen actors he's great.
Loved it, 9/10.

Accidental Death?
This is a good episode mixing mystery, drama and comedy, in a thoroughly entertaining blend.
It's always a delight to see Brian Murphy in absolutely everything, though I can't help expecting to see Mildred somewhere on the horizon.
Maddy never seems to alter a jot she is so unbearably smug and self satisfied, that it gave me great satisfaction to see her so embarrassed.
I can't help thinking that Johnathan is unduly sensitive in regards to an attractive police woman. After all some people thoroughly enjoy, good tongue action from their mate.

A dark and complex mystery
I never used to like this one too much, but having seen it again I realise it is really rather good. The humour involving Maddy and the nudist estate agent is hilarious. I have to say Brian Murphy is superb as the detective.
