Maya Judging Amy

SO many problems. It's not that there aren't funny jokes -- there are -- but they aren't built on the five season which led up to it. Remember when Maya was smart and principled, and wanted to bring some intelligent change? That's gone -- in fact, Nina is now smarter than Maya. Elliot no longer takes photos; he just hangs around Finch's desk. Finch no longer really works. Jack has little to do or say. The show, clearly, has run out of ideas.

It's too bad, really; Tiffani Thiessen is pretty good in her guest role. Unfortunately, everyone else is dumbed down to allow her story to happen. Worth seeing this (and the two follow-ups) for her, but lamentable to see a once-sharp & witty show so woefully unable to recapture the lightning it has so clearly lost.
