Solivar: Perhaps the shield frightened them.
The Flash: Maybe, but when a city is this empty it usually means flesh-eating zombies are involved.
Green Lantern: You watch too many movies.
Solivar: Ssh. Listen.
The Flash: [approaching hearing an eerie noise] Maybe *you* don't watch *enough*.

Gorilla Grodd: Stand still and fight me, you simpleton!
The Flash: We could do that. Tell you what - you ditch the mind-control helmet, and I'll ditch the headband.
Solivar: Flash, don't!
The Flash: Come on, "gorilla my dreams"! Take off the helmet.
[Flash removes his headband and tosses it away. Grodd looks incredulous, then smiles]
Gorilla Grodd: Heh. You're a bigger fool than I thought.
The Flash: Oh, yeah? Well, you're... naked!
[Flash shrugs at Solivar]
Gorilla Grodd: The world will miss your sparkling intellect. Goodbye, Flash.
[He puts his hands to his helmet... and screams as the helmet feeds back on itself. He collapses]
Dr. Sarah Corwin: What have you done to him?
The Flash: Simple. When I pushed the helmet down over his eyes, I also crossed some wires.
Dr. Sarah Corwin: How could you? You've destroyed the greatest mind on Earth!
The Flash: You'll be okay, now that you're free from his mind control.
Dr. Sarah Corwin: What are you talking about? He never used that on me. I loved him.
The Flash: Internet romances, huh? Go figure.

Solivar: [as the mind-controlled mob closes in] Flash, I can't hold them off much longer!
The Flash: How much do you weigh?
Solivar: About four-hundred of your pounds, why do you aaaaaaaaaa-!
[Flash lifts him and streaks away, taking them out of the mob's reach, then drops him]
The Flash: [wheezing] Four-hundred pounds, huh? You sure you did the math right?

Solivar: [seeing a mind-controlled crowd cheering for Grodd] We're too late. They're already under his control.
The Flash: Uh, how many of these headbands you got left?
Solivar: Two.
The Flash: That's not gonna be enough.

Dr. Sarah Corwin: Missile number two deactivated.
Solivar: It's over, Grodd.
Gorilla Grodd: No! I won't lose to the likes of you!
The Flash: [jumping on his back, he pushes Grodd's helmet over his eyes and slaps it like a drum roll] Guess who?
Gorilla Grodd: What?
[growling, he manages to get the helmet off]
Gorilla Grodd: Where are you, human?
The Flash: You want a piece of me, Chuckles? Come on.

Gorilla Soldier: I'm sorry we misjudged you. We can never repay you for all you've done.
The Flash: No biggie. What's gonna happen to Grodd?
Solivar: I'll show you.
[leading them to a cage where a catatonic Grodd sits, pushing a tire swing]
Solivar: The feedback from his helmet completely wiped out his mind.
Green Lantern: I almost feel sorry for him.
Solivar: You have my solemn word that he will receive the best of care.
