Village Pimps

The village people pimp out Carrie in order for Doug to have less car insurance rates and avoid a ticket.

I call them the Village People because Carrie made a joke about Doug and his friends dressed in their work wear.

So Carrie earns most of the money, and does most of the work, and Doug leverages his wife's attractiveness to try and avoid paying money that he largely doesn't earn.

So yeah, problematic is pretty clear here. The 'King' is always ahead of the Queen, no matter how much more qualified Carrie is.

And Doug learnt that this was the wrong thing to do. Took him until 30 years old to work that out.

When Spence tells Doug to guess who purchased a subway token from him, Doug's first guess is Lou Ferrigno. Ferrigno would later be the Heffernan's next door neighbor and a regular on the show.

Goofs
After Ritchie makes his sandwich and is explaining to Doug and Carrie that the cop will never show up in court, Ritchie's beer switches back and forth from being opened to closed and opened again.
