    Tangent: Bryan Cranston

So this was a perfectly average episode, neither here nor there really, but I wanted to mention specifically Bryan Cranston.

Cranston did guest appearances, mostly on sitcoms, memorably on Seinfeld, How I Met Your Mother and King of Queens.

He finally got his break with the hilarious part of Hal on Malcolm on the Middle, which made him very recognisable.

And finally becoming a serious dramatic actor with one of the greatest roles of all time as Walter White on Breaking Bad.

My point being is how many terrific actors have toiled away and never got a chance to shine, or was Cranston just something special?

    • Trivia
Bryan Cranston's first appearance as annoying neighbor Tim Sacksky. This is the second situational comedy that Bryan Cranston has had a recurring role of a character called "Tim," the other being Seinfeld where he played Tim Whatley, a dentist who converted to Judaism for the jokes.
    • Goofs
The barking dog turns out to be a Beagle but the bark heard is clearly not the bark of a Beagle.
    • Quotes

Carrie Spooner Heffernan: [to the Sackskys] At night, we like to sleep. We're kinda kooky that way!
