      When Carrie is trying on dresses, Doug chooses the blue and orange one because those are the NY Mets colors and that's his favorite baseball team. At the end of the episode, Carrie has chosen a green and white dress which actually matches Doug's NY Jets jacket that is hanging in the background. However, he says he likes it because it's the Boston Celtics colors. Doug, of course, is a NY Knicks fan.
