Doug complains he doesn't get any from his depressed wife.

So Carrie lost her job, and is a bit lost.

When Carrie rejects Doug in bed, Doug is concerned that Carrie isn't doing enough around the house.

The incredible selfishness from Doug, again presented as charming loveable character (and not toxic absurdity like Seinfeld and Always Sunny does to perfection), is very off putting.

This is the Doug that rejected a promotion because he wanted just to drive. Which is fine. But let Carrie do her own thing yeah?

Never once did Doug acknowledge what Carrie is going through. It was all about him.
