    Doris Roberts is missed

I'll admit it, I'm really only watching this show because I'm a completest, and this is (pretty much) set in the same world as Everybody Loves Raymond.

So it is great to see the late Doris Roberts perform her perfect passive aggressiveness against an unsuspecting Carrie.

Ray Romano is also a delight also.

So that was a lot of fun, and I'm a sucker for crossovers, I'm just late to the party.

Very understandable them getting popular show like Everybody Loves Raymond to help boost up a fledgling show.

Surprisingly, Larry Romano and Ray Romano, both being in this episode- are not actually related.

    • Trivia
In this epsiode, Ray tries to persuade Doug to play more golf before he leaves, since Doug feels guilty about breaking plans with Richie. In the Everybody Loves Raymond episode, Golf (S2, E5) the role is reversed, as Doug tries to get Ray to play more golf before he leaves, as he feels guilty about tricking Debra.
    • Goofs
When Doug and Ray are golfing in the rain, Ray attempts to hit the green with an 8-iron off the tee. However, the sign behind them clearly shows that the hole is a par-4 and 325 yards long from even the shortest tee box, an impossible shot with an 8-iron.
    • Quotes

      Carrie Heffernan: Who was that?

Doug Heffernan: It's Ray Barone. He wants to know if his mother can drop him off here.

Carrie Heffernan: For what, a play date?
