One of my FAVORITE SEASON 6 Episodes

As I diehard Knots Landing fan from it's premiere in 1979 through the last episode in 1993, I have to say this episode 2 in Season Six just might be one of my favorites of that season.

First of all, KL was one of those nighttime soaps that didn't really hit it's stride until mid-Season 3. The course of how it was laid out went from an episode to episode drama to more of the continuing story soap opera. But the casting and talent only got better. So it really carried it's own until probably the last season which was kind of painful...but I digress.

The reason I loved this episode is because it is the last episode until a Season 14 appearance that we have to tolerate the whiny, loud-mouth Diana!!! Her fits of shouting were nerve-wracking throughout the first 5 seasons. Not sure if that was the way the writers wanted her characterized, or Lonow just over-acted/over-reacted. But she was definitely one of the characters who I seriously wanted to slap.
