Except for a couple tiny problems, an excellent episode.

This is a very creative episode of "Kojak" and features a mentally ill man who longs for everyone in his therapy group to get along and be happy. And, if there's someone who keeps any of them from being happy, or so he perceives, he kills these people who are hurting his therapy group friends! This is a real problem for the police, as for some time they cannot figure out how these murders are related. Once the police do get a lead, there turns out to be a twist no one anticipated...even the viewers...which makes this exciting to watch.

Okay...one of the problems about the episode is someone only someone like me would recognize. The therapy group was not handled well and real therapy groups work differently and have the chairs/office arranged very differently...but who but a trained therapist would recognize this?! Second, when a guy was shot from about an inch away, he rolled over and there was absolutely no blood. Now I know that the networks were hesitant to show a lot of blood...but absolutely none? That's weird.

Fortunately, the stuff I liked and respected was far greater. The show was unique, generally well written and was quite exciting. And, the twist was really great. Overall, one of the better episodes...well worth seeing.

Hopelessly devoted to his therapy group

A nebbish called Danny Zucco is hopelessly devoted to his fellow therapy group members to the point of planting a bomb on whoever they whine about that, and that seems to be the case with a secretary who dies in a bomb explosion, however Kojak can't find a pattern in the serial murders, but he knows there is one because she was killed in a parking space with her name on it.

This is an inventive, taut and suspenseful episode which has a fresh idea and a killer twist. I liked the subplot of the boss and his mistress and the boss' wife. That is a nice piece of drama intertwined with police detecting and bomb planting.
