Dry Wells, run with eastern style efficiency

A stagecoach holdup occurs, a shotgun guard is killed and based on a voice identification of the masked bandit, Philip Carey sends Neville Brand and Peter Brown to investigate the town of Dry Wells where there's an eastern style town boss, trained in Chicago trying to become the Professor Moriarty of crime in Texas. It all depends on him importing out of state talent that isn't wanted in the Lone Star state.

Malachi Throne plays Finnegan who learned politics and other arts on the South side of Chicago. He finds however his methods are a hard sell to outlaws accustomed to doing their own thing.

William Smith and Robert Wolders go in disguise to Dry Wells as a pair of outlaws wanted in Arizona territory.

Of course in the end Malachi Throne's attempt to become the Mayor Daley of Dry Wells come up short as you knew they would.

    Nicely done all around.
