Will El Toro Lose His Horns?

Dan Reid finds a Mexican trapped under two fallen beams in a cave. The Mexican tells him that the cave is about to collapse and to get out and save himself. But Dan pulls the beams off and gets the man to safety, just in time. The Mexican is quite grateful and he and Dan part company. When Dan reports the incident to The Ranger and Tonto, The Ranger immediately recognizes the man from Dan's description. He is El Toro, a feared bandit who operates on both sides of the border. He once escaped execution at the hands of the Mexican government. All signs lead to a showdown between the good guys and El Toro and his gang of bad outlaws. Will El Toro's gratitude to Dan influence his actions? It's interesting that Idaho born Gene Wesson plays El Toro. Gene appeared in some TV series in the 1950s, but he mainly had a comedy act with his younger brother Dick. They performed as the Wesson Brothers. Dick was the more familiar face, and he later became a writer for several TV series in the 1950s and 1960s.
