A must watch for the ending with TC and Rick

A pretty good ep esp with Lenz who is a talented actress. But the ending with Rick and TC (I'm not going to give it away) is simply one of the best scenes in the entire series.

As for the rest, it pretty much avg fair.

3 little maids from school

I love this episode and whenever I watch it I'm singing "3 little maids from school" from the Mikado for days after it. As Higgins is putting on the musical at the estate and of course all the gang is roped in for it, as well as working on a case for Kay Lenz - who I love. And the two crossover in both dramatic and comical fashion. So much fun.

Trivia
The proverb in the title "Let the punishment fit the crime" is a theory of justice that considers that proportionate punishment is a morally acceptable response to crime and was used as a comic song in the Gilbert and Sullivan production of The Mikado.
