Wes Varney
- Wes Varney: You sure do beat all. I never run up against anybody like you before. Maybe if I had, the name of Wes Varney wouldn't be one that scares most men running for cover. How come you you ain't afraid of me?
- Roger Bigelow: Well, I'm not afraid of anything mortal.
- Wes Varney: Well, you sure do beat all.
- Wes Varney: It used to be I didn't care about doing a bit of dirt to a friend. Now, I kinda sad I have to do it to you.
- Wes Varney: Now you preacher boys gotta be good losers like evrybody else. Now I lost a time or two, but I don't go bellyaching about it.
- Roger Bigelow: That money was going to be used to build a church. Doesn't that mean anything to you?
- Wes Varney: Well, in my opinion, I'm doing a great service to a lot of people by making it a lot harder for you to interfere with their lives.
- Wes Varney: Now it wasn't all play. There was a little work involved. She wasn't exactly co-operative.
- Major Seth Adams: It isn't very often that a man has a friend who is willing to accept you at face value, to take you in, no questions asked. But I guess you know that. Just as well as anybody else, don't you.
- Wes Varney: Maybe better. I ben more places than most.
- Major Seth Adams: Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised.
