And They Danced And Danced And Danced

Not the best Waltons episode. Still for a standard coming of age story, not bad. Contains good dancing. More like a John Boy spinoff than a Waltons episode except for Olivia Walton's meddling. Ralph Waite and Ellen Corby provide good support. Also I learned family can always say good morning instead of good night.

    No guts or endurance.

No big surprise but it would have been nice to follow the winners after John Boy's mama took him home. Those who try harder and win in life deserve recognition.

Like John said.....You can always quit and go home.

Narrator: [narration as John 'John Boy' Walton, Jr. reading from his journal] Entering Boatwright University in 1934 meant that I was also entering a whole new phase of my life. Although exposure to the outside world brought excitement and challenge, it also brought changes and conflicts which neither I nor anyone in my family had been able to foresee.
