Music is Good, Love is Better

Erin Moran guests in an episode where a girl comes between two brothers. Plenty of laughs in this one including a pool tournament with disapproving wives. James Gammon provides good comedic support, so does Wilford Brimley. Episode works better with Richard Thomas on camera. Series was better with Thomas, also.

    • Quotes

Narrator: [narration as John 'John Boy' Walton, Jr. reading from his journal] We were a close family growing up on that mountain, but as we grew older and were faced with the problems of finding maturity, conflict sometimes developed between us. I remember a time when my brother Jason's pursuit of fame as a musician, and my brother Ben's pursuit of a young lady brought them into a bitter misunderstanding.
