Continuation of first episode

More story background is given here. And again not bad, the series was going to be good that is clear. It really set the stage for what the role of the team will be.

The stand out of this episode is a serious event that happens, this is unlike any other series from that time.

A decent pilot

Does a pretty good job at introducing the members of the team. The second half of the second part feels rushed though, the president refusing to continue funding the Mutant Registration Agency right after the attack felt random as hell. Loved the Wolverine going to the bar to play pool after Morph's death, not to drink alcohol, no sir, no alcohol in this children's show. Jubilee is also absent for pretty much the entirety of the second episode despite being presented as the main character. The voice acting is spotty and the sound mixing is even worse but I guess that's to be expected from a 90s animated series.

Trivia
Jubilee is shown putting on her sunglasses before using her powers. This happened quite often during the series, hinting that Jubilee can be blinded by her own powers.

Goofs
The tower guard's hair changes from black to brown when Rogue catches him in mid-air.

Alternate versions
In the DVD release, the line "I summoned the power of thunder and lightning", spoken by Storm when she's destroying a sentinel in the sky is muted. It is in the original broadcasting and Disney+.
