Epidemic

A medicine show making its rounds to all the settlements is selling its usual alcohol based tonic when folks start getting sick. Including the snake oil salesman that ran the show. When he and others die panic ensues.

Among those sick are Anthony Zerbe and all the Pony Expess Riders have to help Josh Brolin who Zerbe makes a deputy. Ostensibly this is the first time James Butler Hickok puts on a marshal's badge.

Nice performance from Doug Hutchinson who was a mentally challenged kid who bonds with Zerbe and Ty Miller.
