    My Three Sons PLUS

Denver Pyle as Uncle Charlie,Doris as Steve and lots of kids. A nod to "My Three Sons" in some way.

The laughs are few, this show is not a comedy per se. There isn't a Barney Fife for pure silliness.

It's like "The Andy Griffith Show" without Don Knotts.

Doris gets stuck in a closet as a finale.

    I didn't laugh.

    5 stars.

    Doris Baby Sits

Doris baby sits for 5 wild children while their mother is taken to the hospital to have another baby.

A funny episode and the first acting role for Jodie Foster as one of the kids. As Doris drives to her friends home, she runs out of gas. Just an excuse for comic sequence for Hal Smith as a drunk. When she gets to house she has to stay with wild, rambunctious kids. A lot of slapstick here with marbles in the dishwasher, a tub popcorn popping and Doris gets a face full of black soot from the fireplace. The youngest little girl is in a bubble bath. Her bare bottom is shown, pretty unusual for a TV show at this time.
