    House Party in the Valley

Love the show but this episode was a total rip off of Almost Famous. Episode hinges on opening weekend Numbers of Aquaman amidst of a west-coast Blackout. Vince and the boys take in Aquaman at a theater in the Valley. Everybody gets cool Ducati bikes until the lights go out. Valley Nerds invite the boys to a house party ala Almost Famous. At least credit is given to that movie. Ari's wife can't get any action (too bad she is most delicious). The Boys party down at the house party with funnels and shotguns of beer. Turtle gets no love from Valley girls. Drama's anti-Valley sentiment does a 180 degree change at the end. The half hour episodes only leave me wanting more, they need to make this a 1 hour show.

    Best ep PERIOD

This is the best episode out of all the seasons. Almost Famous or not. All works of art are inspired from previous works. Tarantino does it all the time and admits it. Nobody else does but it's totally true. Getting back to this episode. The blackout, the heat, the house party. It was all great. The nerd says at the end "Were gonna hang in my basement!" That is classic man. Im telling you. Classic Drama all episode, with the hydration, typical Vince buying everybody everything and the way they got all got hammered at the end at the party. It was so real. I love Vince giving away his car at the end. Its an awesome way to kick start season 2. And if you did love this episode like myself, watch the DVD bonus. There is a commentary on it. It's great. They cover some cool stuff. Check it out! Another top episode of mine was the U2 concert. When Bono mentions Drama at the end, thats awesome.

    One day in the valley

In response to the previous comment, I don't consider this episode a rip-off of "Almost Famous". They specifically mentioned that going to the party would be like "Almost Famous". They referred to the movie at least twice. I remember them saying it was his "Almost Famous moment" or something like that. So it's not a rip-off. It's more like a tribute to a great scene in a great movie. I absolutely loved this episode. Ari is just about the best character on television. His interaction with Lloyd & his wife, the scene at the marriage counselor's office... everything he does is just hilarious. That role was made for Jeremy Piven. I couldn't imagine anyone else as Ari Gold!
