I love Bart so much but i still hate Jessica Lovejoy she is my number one least favorite character along with Gart (Robot And Monster), Mr Pickles, Alfe ( The Problem Solverz), Buhdeuce (Breadwinners) and Candy Smalls (Santa Inc), but Meryl Streep does a great job making her voice.
Bart falls for Reverend Lovejoy's daughter.
This is a very good episode with an enjoyable arc for Bart and an entertaining guest character.
This is a well written episode with lots of good banter between characters and a humorous arc for Bart that begins quite ironically with his attempts to impress with good behaviour.
As we get to see the real Jessica it gets even better as Bart plays against his usual character type for the majority of the episode. The writers also use Lisa's character well as she gets more involved in the latter part of the episode.
The ending is very good with a great interaction between the two main characters.
It's an 8.5 for me but I round upwards.

I love the presentation of the minister. He remind me of many of the clergy I've encountered inn my life. Bart falls for his daughter but she proves to be incredibly evil and manipulative. But she is pretty and knows how to get her way. Soon Bart is seen as a pariah by the townfolks. Good episode.

- TriviaNancy Cartwright said in an interview with The Pantagraph that she really wanted Meryl Streep's autograph, but was afraid to ask for it. After the recording session, Streep tapped Cartwright on the shoulder, and said her kids were big fans and that she would be in "big trouble" if she did not get Cartwright's autograph.
- GoofsWhen Bart is first seen crossing out the days in April and May on his calendar, the calendar incorrectly shows April as having 31 days and May as having only 30 days, but in the next shot of each page, the number of days is correct.
