    Burns in Love

When the foundation of the Simpson house collapses, it will take 8500 dollars to repair it, causing Marge to seek out a job. Just so happens that there is a position at the power plant. She works hard and Burns has romantic intentions for her. Smithers fantasizes about her and comes on. Meanwhile, Bart is trying to avoid taking a test and cries wolf. Oh, and something happens to legendary star Tom Jones.

    Marge and Homer Are........Co-Workers!

This is the seventh episode of the fourth season of the Simpsons and in my opinion, it may be the weakest episode this season to date, but only by a hair. It just doesn't seem the storyline is as strong as the previous episode. However, I did like the reference to the "boy who cried wolf," legend and how the episode took a literal meaning to that myth.

In this episode, "Marge Gets a Job," the Simpsons house has foundation issues which requires money that they don't have. Marge decides to work at the power plant, where she becomes a victim of sexual harassment by Mr. Burns. Meanwhile, in order to fake out from taking exams, Bart decides to fake sickness. But on the third try, that faking may actually become reality.

Overall, this is solid episode on the whole. I loved the subplot involving Bart. But the main plot with Marge isn't as strong. It just shows how much of a creep Mr. Burns is. I did love the cameo by Tom Jones though. I rate this episode 8/10.

    ...my ovaries

Marge gets a job at the power plant.

This is an entertaining episode with lots of great humour.

There is an A-B plot that is fairly good, especially Bart crying wolf, and it mostly function to set up of multiple high quality gags.

Several characters are used exceptionally well, such as Bart, Mr Burns, Smithers, Marge, Homer, Miss Krabapple, and Groundskeeper Willy. Tom Jones guest appearance is one of my favourites.

Homer and Marge working together at the Power Plant? Blame it on Tibor

This episode is about the Simpson family house having foundation problems. Marge gets a job at the Power Plant to pay for the necessary repairs. Things get complicated when Mr. Burns becomes obsessed with her.

There are a lot of things to like about this episode. Both Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz make an appearance. Tom Jones is one of the greatest musical guest stars they've had on the show, and was supposedly a joy to work with. This is also a great Mr. Burns episode. Groundskeeper Willie has a very funny part as well.

Season 4 has great episode after great episode. This is certainly one of them.

    • Trivia
Tom Jones credits his cameo appearance in this episode for resurrecting his career.
    • Goofs
Lisa says both Marie Curie and Pierre Curie died of radiation poisoning. While this is what happened to Madame Curie, Monsieur Curie was killed when he was run over by a cart. This is one goof the writers admitted to greatly regret.
    • Quotes

Grampa Simpson: Have you ever read "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"?

Bart Simpson: I glanced at it. Boy cries wolf, has a few laughs... I forget how it ends.

Grampa Simpson: [does an annoyed grunt as he approaches a red light] Bart, is that light green?

      Bart Simpson: Yep!

      Grampa Simpson: It better be!

[Grampa runs the red light as a pedestrian yells at him]

    • Alternate versions
In the episode where the wolf attacks the school, Bart is trying to get out of a test. In the original version, he claims he has Tourette's syndrome and breaks into an alternate voice "Shove it, witch." In syndication the disease is changed to rabies, earlier versions containing the "witch" quote, and later versions omitting it entirely.
