    San Fran Texas

This was an interesting episode. The group lands on a world where San Francisco is part of the Texas Republic. Lawyers are real gunslingers and sometimes win their cases with a quick draw. Quinn is mistaken for a gunslinger after defending his life from a greedy lawyer. They quickly discover that Quinn isn't a lawyer and is arrested. He's soon offered a job since he gunned down one of the firm's law studs. Quinn and the group do their best to help a woman and her son get justice in this twisted society of guns and the law. Sexy guest star James Denton plays the evil top lawyer in the firm who is trying to destroy this woman's business. It was nice to see him in a less than wholesome role. Who doesn't love it when lawyers eliminate each other? Excellent episode!

    • Trivia
A map hangs on the wall in the background at the police station. It depicts the entire Southwest as the belonging to Texas, and the rest of the usual USA as the United States of America.
    • Goofs
At the end of the episode, just before Quinn slides, he talks to the kid Jamie Hardaway and puts the kid's cowboy hat back on his head, as he turns to head into the vortex in the same shot, the kid's hat blows off his head again. The next shot from the side as he leaves the kid to heads into the vortex, the kid's hat is back on his head again. The shot change is almost instantaneous, which reveals a common continuity error that was made.
