    Indie Films Rule

No they don't I lied. I've seen this episode so many times I'm starting to hate it. But then again Chefs salty balls make the episode pretty rad, other than that it's a good one and feels like a classic. 8.0.

    Sundance comes to South Park

Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls is a funny and good South Park episode. It marks the second appearance of Mr.Hankey the Christmas poo.I heard Trey Parker and Matt Stone made this episode as revenge for Sundance not accepting their earlier film "Cannibal The Musical"(aka Alfred Packer The Musical). This episode has Robert Redford coming to South Park to host the film festival, then all these people come(such as movie critics).Chef wants them to try his "salty chocolate balls", a snack with a double entendre for a name.Meanwhile Mr Hankey is dying because people are eating strange foods which are bad for his environment and Kyle must stop them.Meanwhile, Stan and Wendy go see some independent films together because Garrison is making them write a report on any one of the films.Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls is a funny and good episode.

    • Trivia
Robert Redford was very offended by this episode, which spoofed the Sundance Film Festival. Trey Parker and Matt Stone made this episode as revenge for Cannibal! The Musical (1993) not being picked for the festival when they submitted it in 1994.
    • Goofs
There are moments when the boys are in the sewer when they actually seem to walk on water (their feet are clearly seen). One of these moments is when they talk to Mr. Garrison, who pops out of the water and later drops down into it again.
    • Quotes

Chef: [singing] Say everybody have you seen my balls/They're big and salty and brown./If you ever need a quick pick-me-up./Just put my balls in your mouth./Ooh, suck on my chocolate salty balls - Stick 'em in your mouth/Put 'em in your mouth and you suck 'em and you suck 'em.
