Mike feels Catlin is pushing him out.

Due to extra security, Catlin is doing background checks on the Mayor's staff. Mike wants to make sure that he is involved with the information but is told that he will not be able to see the folders. Mike thinks that Catlin is trying to get something on him to get him out of the way. So, he gets Carter and Stuart to help him break into the Mayor's office and copy the background information that she has obtained. And everything looks like it may go well, until Paul arrives.

In another story, the Mayor is trying to get the City to host less sexual adult and violent movies. It seems that in the last few year that all the movies made in New York City have been of adult nature. The Mayor even gets James to help him talk with movie makers to stop the violence. But when one of the movie makers asks if the Mayor would like a part in his film, the Mayor jumps at the chance.

The best part of the episode is when Catlin is interviewing the staff about the break-in. Otherwise, the show seemed rather routine and predictable. But there was enough interest in the show that lead to a nice watch for viewers.

    • Quotes

Mike Flaherty: [getting Carter to help with break-in at Mayor's office] Carter, I need help.

Carter Heywood: Ha, I see. Need a break-in, get a black man to help. Black People know all about committing crimes.

Mike Flaherty: I didn't say that. Don't be so sensitive.

Carter Heywood: Oooh, Gay man too sensitive.

Mike Flaherty: If it so offensive to you, you know, fine, don't help.

Carter Heywood: No, no, sounds cool. I'm in.
