Felt sad after watching this show.

For whatever reason, this episode is baffling for the viewer as Claudia (Faith Price) is brought back on the show only to be written off. Not sure why they no longer wanted her to make a few appearances per season but in this episode Claudia is to off to become a Nun. This leaves the lovable character, Paul Lassiter, in a difficult situation which felt almost awkward for the viewer. Claudia was the only thing in Paul's life that seemed stable and now the writers take her out of the picture. It was not like she was in every episode but just knowing that she was home waiting on Paul made the viewer feel relaxed. It just seemed harsh to such a likable character.

Also in the episode, we have Caitlin being turned down by a blind man which sends her into a near state of panic. She feels like she was rejected for her personality rather than her looks. She tries to find a way to make her personality more outgoing.

There was also a small bit where the Mayor is trying to religion based solely on which offers a better deal. But that side-story got old quick.-- There was a few funny lines but it could not erase the foul taste the show left by having Claudia leave. Perhaps the writers has better things for Paul life but it still did not seem the correct decision. This made the entire production disappointing. Did not like the way this episode made a person feel.

    Weird

My main impression after watching this episode is that the make up department was on holiday. Some of the cast just look weird. Paul, for instance, has five o' clock shadow on half of his face, but not the other half. And it's not like it is left half, or top half, just random parts of his face have it and others don't. Charlie, also, looks unnaturally pale and full of wrinkles. He looks worse here than in Two and a Half Men. You would think that the make up and lighting could easily fix that, but it seems that one or both of those departments were absent.

As for the episode, it is a bit better than the previous few, which were pretty much completely devoid of jokes. This one is not brilliant, but there are a few funny bits. But still, the show is clearly on the decline.

A couple of things that do not sit well in this season - half of the mayor's staff is gone, and nobody mentions them at all. Not a word about James, Nikki or Janelle. I get that maybe there was bad blood with the actors leaving, but still it would make sense to at least mention them in passing and have some sort of explanation about what happened to them. Even Mike is never talked about, not even by Caitlin. Are they still a couple, or not? And the new assistant, this is the first time that people acknowledge as the new hire, but she was there in the previous episode, but she was never properly introduced, she just appeared out of the blue.
