Mike talks a wealthy donor into running against the Mayor.

The Mayor's Senate campaign has run out of money and now they are going to have to rely on wealthy donors. One of the most generous is a lady named Lindsey Shaw. She makes her way to City Hall where Mike hits her up for the money and she gives some demands for the donation. But when she wants even more demands, Mike stands firm and says something about with all those demands she should run for Senate. So now, Ms Shaw is running against Randall Winston for the Senate seat. Thanks, Mike.

In another story, Nikki has been given the task of showing the new intern the works of the office. At first Nikki is not happy but when the intern turns out to be a nice looking teen, all of the sudden Nikki makes a transition into a bubblegum, skating girl and will see where the relationship may progress. But she will find out that the intern is less mature that he appears.

The was a nice enough show. Perhaps the interest in the main story was not that great but it was well performed by the actors. We also see the next step in the Mike and Catlin relationship as sparks are slowly beginning to form. There was also a nice filler that had Paul spending the night with Carter and Stuart, for a price, which only enhanced the show. A nice show that at least held the viewers attention for the duration.

    • Quotes

Paul Lassiter: [Paul is suppose to get Carter and Stuart super bowl tickets for letting him spend the night] Guys, bad news. Turns out transportation isn't included in the Super Bowl package.

Carter Heywood: Well, that's OK, Paul. I guess we can pay for our own flights.

Paul Lassiter: Why would you want to fly to New Jersey?

Stuart Bondek: Paul, the Super Bowl is in Atlanta.

Paul Lassiter: No, its not. It's at the biggest bowling alley in Trenton.

Carter Heywood: Paul, we thought you were taking us to the football Super Bowl.

Paul Lassiter: What are you, High? You guys only put me up for one night and no offense, it's not exactly the Red Roof Inn.
