I worked for years in a place where exposed pipes had asbestos wrapped around them. After about ten years, a crew came in and removed it. I recall thinking about the implications. I have long passed the time whenI could have been infected but it was scary. Several events take place in this episode, but this, to me, was the most educational.

Trivia
In the scene in the chapel, Dr. Aushlander says that Father McCabe founded St. Eligius in 1932 and Dr. Westphall says that he never met McCabe. In Time Heals: Part 1 (1986) and Time Heals: Part 2 (1986), both statements would be retconned as that two-part story shows that McCabe founded the hospital in 1935 and had known Donald Westphall since he was a child.
