Morrison's life is crumbling. He is beset by headaches and lack of sleep from trying to do three jobs: studying, working, and raising a child. He misses the start of a significant test, but his pride won't let him seek out a respite. In other plot lines, a couple of successful clowns who are in town with a major circus are entertaining the children when one, a young woman collapses. She has suffered from MS for some time and it is catching up with her. Meanwhile, Craig has to admit to a serious mistake made during surgery. Elliot continues to be connected to Mrs. Huffnagle, even after her death.
