    Pretty Predictable

Let me start by saying I don't find the Hufnagle thing funny. I never have. This episode followed all the rules of plot development, which means we could see it coming a mile away. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here. Oh, I'm also tired of the those brothers dealing with their bone marrow transplant. The little girl who ate the pills is sad. I still don't understand why a dialysis machine couldn't be used.

Nurse Helen Rosenthal: Hi, Shirley. How are you? I haven't seen much of you lately.

Nurse Shirley Daniels: I've been busy.

Nurse Helen Rosenthal: You dating someone?

      Nurse Shirley Daniels: No, why?

Nurse Helen Rosenthal: Well, I don't see you in the cafeteria. You know what? You and I should have lunch one of these days.

Nurse Shirley Daniels: Really? During the nurses strike I was persona non grata. Now you've decided all is forgiven?

Nurse Helen Rosenthal: Oh, Shirley come on.

      [Helen comforts Shirley]

Nurse Helen Rosenthal: Don't you think it's time to let what happened go? Hmm?

Nurse Shirley Daniels: That's easy for you, isn't it, Helen? Forgetting the past, your commitment to others? You're one hell of a role model for the nursing staff.

Nurse Helen Rosenthal: [Shocked] So... I guess our lunch is off.

      [Walks to the door]

      Nurse Shirley Daniels: Drop dead.

[Helen leaves the women's locker room]
