    Lost in Space

Getting S5 started with some space play and those darned creepy bugs. Decent storyline and the effects worked well. Great twist that I didn't see coming but adds a new dimension.

    Brainwashed

The spacecraft of Jacob, Jack, Sam and Daniel has no propulsion or shield and is stranded in another galaxy. Further, Apophis is ready to destroy them. Out of the blue, a mysterious spaceship attacks Apophis'mother ship and Jacob and the SG-1 escape and hide in an area with radiation. They do not detect life form on board of Apophis 'mother ship and they decide to go there to use it or get crystals for their ship; however they find the self-destruction system activated. Further, they also find that the mother ship is full of replicators. They get the crystal and return to their ship just before the explosion of the mother ship. When they are ready to go, they receive a message from Teal'c in a small spacecraft and they bring him on board. But they learn that Teal'c was brainwashed and Apophis is his god again.

"Enemies" is a good sequel of "Exodus". Now the problem is Teal'c, a powerful enemy that is protecting Apophis. Will Apophis be resurrected again? My vote is eight.

    • Trivia
Writers considered leaving SG-1 stranded in outer space for a year/season of episodes like Lost in Space (1965) or Star Trek: Voyager (1995). According to Peter DeLuise, however, they didn't think fans would buy it, especially since they didn't have a robot yelling "Danger, SG-1! Danger!"
    • Goofs
When Teal'c is shot by O'Neill, he falls back onto the floor surrounded by dead Jaffa. When O'Neill and Carter run up to him after he falls, he is lying on the floor with no one around him.
    • Quotes

Major Samantha Carter: This way, sir. It's not far.

Colonel Jack O'Neill: Carter, how do you know where to go in a place like this?

Major Samantha Carter: I studied the Tok'ra specs of the ship while we were on Vorash.

Colonel Jack O'Neill: You know how to have a good time, don't you?

Major Samantha Carter: Havin' a good time now, sir.

Colonel Jack O'Neill: You go, girl.
