Trivia
Although the story focuses on Frank turning 40, in reality Patrick Duffy, who plays Frank, was 42 at the time.

Goofs
When Dana sits down at the kitchen table to talk with Carol, she has an empty cup and a tea bag, there's no water in the cup when the camera shows Dana reading the title of the book. Camera pans to Carol and when it pans back to Dana her cup is full of water, but never once did it show her pouring water from the teapot on the table.
