Call Girl

An off duty cop is killed which leads Stone and Robbins to a high class prostitution ring.

A pretty good episode. The dead cop was the boyfriend to one of the call girls. When she is killed too, her friend and ex call girl Carol Revson wants to help the police. Lee Purcell gives a good performance as Carol, she was a striking beauty with porcelain skin and sensuous lips. The next year she would play a witch in the TV movie Summer Of Fear opposite Linda Blair.

Best Emmys Moments

Goofs
The explosion flame on the boats at the beginning that kills the officer is obviously superimposed. The flames look like a film put over the actual image. Only the smoke coming from behind the stack of boats is not superimposed.
