Protective Custody

Ben, a money launderer and his wife Maggie are pursued by mobsters.

A weak Season 5 episode, not much action or suspense. Harry Guardino plays Ben but he is off screen for most of the show. Jessica Walter is good as Maggie. Keller's replacement Dan Robbins does not have much to do and Michael Douglas is sorely missed, especially his chemistry with Karl Malden.

Trivia
In the opening scene, which is portrayed as in an office building in Morristown, NJ, when the character played by Harry Guardino runs from the building pursued by the Mob, this building is actually 140 New Montgomery office building in San Francisco. Its address is the name of the building. He runs toward Howard St. and is caught by the gangsters in a parking lot that no longer exists. It is now another office building.

Goofs
Though the first scenes were supposed to be in Newark, NJ a street sign reading "Howard Street" is seen and California plates are visible on most of the cars not involved in the action including the VW bus parked on the side of the street.
